Geh draußen spielen.
“Geh draußen spielen” maps a journey through shadowed moods toward renewed connection with the wild. It charts how my battle with depression found a foothold in the act of photographing quiet landscapes, each shutter click drawing me deeper into the rhythms of wind and water. Over time, the camera became both lens and lifeline—transforming despair into a deliberate ritual of presence among trees, stones, and changing skies.
This series does not shy away from the weight of human grief or the marks left on the earth, yet it also honors nature’s capacity to hold and heal. By threading personal vulnerability with ecological awareness, the work offers an invitation: to recognize the wounds we carry, to acknowledge the traces we leave behind, and to discover in every growing shoot and whispered breeze a glimmer of renewal. In its honest, poetic insistence, “Geh draußen spielen” reminds us that the path through darkness can lead, step by mindful step, back into life.
